Job Summary
Porter/Gatekeeper responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the property’s common areas and assisting with general maintenance, cleaning, and moving services. Performs lawn and grounds tasks (mowing, trimming, weed control, planting, irrigation maintenance), pool/spa cleaning, exterior lighting upkeep, debris removal, and safety procedures. Requires attention to detail, initiative, reliability, and the ability to work in a collegiate resident environment. Includes training, on-call duties, and maintaining a professional appearance.
Required Qualifications
- High school/GED or trade school diploma and one year of full-time experience in lawn/grounds maintenance or equivalent
- Efficient in reading instructions and documenting labor and materials
- Record of punctuality and dependability, ability to work under deadlines, and flexible schedule for after-hours and weekend emergencies
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand 8 hours or longer per day and lift up to 100 lbs.
