Job Summary
Conduct post-event cleaning and venue upkeep including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and surface wiping to ensure quality standards before the next event. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs, painting, light construction, and repairs as assigned. Restock cleaning supplies, report large-scale repair needs, and inspect work areas for safety hazards or facility issues. Complete all assigned duties within supervisor guidelines and deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude in a loud, fast-paced environment. Availability includes nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
- Reliable, punctual, and regular in attendance
- Ability to work in a loud and fast paced environment
- Ability to de-escalate tense situations
- Ability to work in varying conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude with superior customer service skills, and be team oriented
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time
- Strong intrapersonal skills with an outgoing, friendly personality
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills
- Availability to work various hours: nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Employee must use precautions and follow safety guidelines
