Job Summary
This position of Porter/Concierge involves essential duties such as cleaning and maintaining various areas of the building, including rooms and common areas, and ensuring proper access and security for residents and guests. The role requires strong observational skills to recognize and escalate building issues, managing package retrieval, and monitoring security systems. Candidates should possess customer service abilities, effective communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, with prior experience in similar roles preferred.
Required Qualifications
- One to three months prior experience related to Porter or custodial experience and/or training.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and communication skills.
- Ability to take direction from Superintendent, Facilities Director and Management staff.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a concierge in a residential building preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook.
- Prior direct experience and proven track record in a similar role preferred.
