Job Summary
Maintain common areas, clubhouses, offices, and model units prior to resident move-in by ensuring spaces are free of trash, debris, and animal waste. Keep landscaping well-maintained, including flower watering, and prepare dumpster areas for pick-up. Assist with apartment turnovers as directed and advise supervisors of needed repairs like carpet or window issues. Communicate with managers regarding maintenance or curb appeal problems and respond appropriately to emergencies per policy. Participate in all required in-service and Cardinal U training sessions while embodying Cardinal culture. Work both inside and outside in all weather conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for up to eight hours daily.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy while providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk, and complete physical labor for up to eight hours per day
- Ability to communicate and comprehend in English
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to fifty (50) pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions including, but not limited to rain, snow, heat, hail, wind and sleet
