Job Summary
Organize and arrange vehicles on the dealership lot to ensure they are clean, fueled, and ready for sale. Perform routine inspections for damage and verify accessories against invoices during receipt of new cars. Move vehicles between the lot, service department, and other locations as required. Assist with deliveries and pickups by coordinating with sales and service staff. Maintain lot cleanliness through sweeping, trash removal, and snow removal. Assign stock control numbers, catalog items, and store keys. Park cars to maximize space and ensure proper signing for state and manufacturer requirements. Service storage vehicles to protect tires, batteries, and finishes. Maintain vehicle files for the inventory manager and assist with dealership events and customer service activities. Valid driver's license and manual/automatic driving ability required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work without supervision
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
