Job Summary
Clean the room, complete closing duties by storing reusable goods and locking doors, and set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Monitor cleanliness and sanitation of assigned stations, transport dirty linen, and restock shelves with clean linens while practicing clean-as-you-go procedures. Assist other departments as needed, welcome guests, and address service needs. Follow safety policies, report accidents, and complete required training. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 pounds independently.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Must be able to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
