Job Summary
Porter at AVE real estate brand responsible for maintaining brand standards of cleanliness and presentation across designated spaces, assisting with resident services requests, and supporting maintenance tasks such as light bulbs, painting, caulking, and carpet care. Responsibilities include cleaning indoor/outdoor areas, troubleshooting/repairing service requests (appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical), maintaining exterior presentation, after-hours on-call coverage, handling emergencies, snow removal, and assisting with suite turnovers. Requires 1–2 years of janitorial/maintenance experience, strong guest service skills, a positive, proactive attitude, reliable transportation for on-call shifts, and availability for the full-time schedule. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour, with additional bonus potential; benefits and perks include PTO, medical/dental/vision, 401k, paid birthday time off for permanent roles, and company-wide training and development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one to two years of janitorial and/or maintenance experience (e.g., plumbing, electric, carpentry, appliance repairs)
- Demonstrated strong guest service skills
- Demonstrated energetic, self-motivating and positive attitude
- High-level cleanliness and presentation standards
- Must have reliable source of transportation for on-call rotation and emergencies
- Must be available to work full-time schedule Tuesday-Saturday 7:00am to 3:30pm
