Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, including diagnostic hearing and balance assessments. Interpret test results to provide treatment recommendations and counsel patients on communication strategies. Fit, program, verify, and dispense hearing aids while achieving sales goals through ethical, patient-centered recommendations. Maintain accurate medical documentation and collaborate with providers to coordinate care. Perform hearing aid troubleshooting and repairs, ensuring ongoing hearing healthcare management. This role offers a full scope of audiology services within a 25-bed acute care facility and a 98-bed skilled nursing network in Middlebury, Vermont.

  • Ability to conduct hearing aid evaluations and recommend appropriate amplification solutions based on patient needs and lifestyle
  • Ability to fit, program, verify, and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices
  • Ability to provide patient education regarding hearing aid use, care, and maintenance
  • Ability to perform hearing aid troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, and follow-up care
  • Ability to achieve hearing aid sales goals through ethical, patient-centered recommendations
  • Ability to stay current with hearing aid technology and industry best practices
  • Must be available for Day shift
