Job Summary
The Porter coordinates cleaning, upkeep, and presentation of the property’s common areas, vacant units, and exterior spaces to support leasing and resident satisfaction. Responsibilities include cleaning lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, offices, and model units; preparing vacant units for marketing and occupancy; maintaining exterior appearance; trash/debris removal; seasonal tasks like snow removal and basic landscaping; reporting maintenance or safety hazards; assisting with inventory of supplies; and delivering friendly, professional resident service in a safety-conscious environment. Qualifications emphasize safe use of cleaning agents/equipment, ability to follow directions and manage tasks independently, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to follow safety policies; prior experience with cleaning multifamily buildings is helpful but not required. Education options include High School Diploma, GED, or trade/technical training; related experience is welcome.
