Job Summary
As Porter, maintain exterior grounds and common areas of the property and interior common areas. Assist with trash outs after move-outs. Manage cleanliness and organization of work areas and maintenance shops. May assist with cleaning and maintaining the pool and surrounding area. Post notices to vacate and other community communications if applicable. Requires prior grounds maintenance, landscaping, janitorial or general maintenance experience; familiarity with basic tools and cleaning equipment; ability to perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs); on-site work schedule typically Monday–Friday with potential overtime. Role is entry-level, onsite, full-time, in a property-management environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous knowledge of grounds maintenance, landscaping and/or general maintenance/janitorial experience is a plus
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair is a plus
- Basic computer skills/knowledge required to perform job functions
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Full range of motion with upper and lower body
- Push or pull items and reach overhead
- Operation of a motor vehicle onsite, if applicable
- Exposure to all weather conditions
