Job Summary
Operate a flatbed truck and forklift to load and unload storage containers, transporting U-Box units to and from customer homes and businesses on local routes. Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University. Requires a clean motor vehicle driving record, high school diploma, and Department of Transportation certification with a Commercial driver's license (CDL). Must be 18 or older.
Required Qualifications
- Clean motor vehicle driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Department of Transportation certification
- Commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs assisted or unassisted
- Must be able to operate a flatbed truck
- Must be able to operate an 8000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift
- Must be able to load and unload storage containers
- Must be able to transport storage containers to and from specified destinations
- Must not use nicotine products
