Job Summary
Experienced Fleet Dispatcher/Transportation Manager for intermodal port operations. Responsible for managing daily driver operations, dispatching to terminals, scheduling pickups and drop-offs, supervising a local driver fleet, coordinating maintenance, ensuring DOT/OSHA compliance, coordinating with office and shops, monitoring budgets and performance metrics, and driving process improvements for profitability. Preference for multilingual capability (Spanish, Russian, Bulgarian). 2+ years port/drayage dispatching experience and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office required. In-person office-based role in Huntington Park, CA with long hours and flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of port - drayage dispatching experience and operations in the trucking industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Willing to work a flexible schedule and long hours
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
