Job Summary
Operate a truck tractor to transport containers to and from the Port of Los Angeles and Long Beach, performing pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections, tractor fueling, container weighing, and daily paperwork submission. Communicate with Dispatch using a hands-free device while completing required tasks. This Full-Time role requires up to 14 hours daily, 60–70 hours weekly, and includes on-call rotation for accidents. Candidates must possess a valid CDL Class A license, clean MVR, and TWIC card, with at least three years of verifiable CDL Class A experience and one year of port hauling container experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Clean MVR - if you have an accident on the record, please be ready to provide an accident report
- Valid TWIC card
- Min 3 years of verifiable experience as a CDL Class A driver
- Min 1 year experience working with the port hauling containers
- Must pass DOT pre-employment drug test
- Be available to work up to 14 hours daily for a Full-Time position
