Job Summary

Population Health & Operations Logistics Specialist coordinates and owns operational workflows supporting patient access, resident and provider assignment management, value-based care contract performance, and regulatory compliance across the Graduate Medical Education and Clinical Care divisions. The role also coordinates the Population Health Rotation logistics, including learner onboarding materials and scheduling, and serves as a liaison among clinical teams, organizational leadership, learners, and community stakeholders to advance community-responsive healthcare delivery. Key duties include managing resident/clinician location assignments for clinic coverage and scheduling optimization; leading value stream mapping and Lean process improvements to reduce clinical workflow inefficiencies; engaging with community-based organizations and public health partners to align clinical services with community needs; ensuring compliance with organizational policies, GME accreditation standards, payer requirements, and regulatory frameworks. Required qualifications emphasize a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred), strong organizational/communication/project coordination skills, experience with healthcare operations and education activities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, EHRs (Medent), and data tools (Tableau, SQL). Additional preferred qualifications include experience in population health, community health, pediatric or residency program contexts, social determinants of health, and quality improvement methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, health sciences, education, social sciences, or related field
  • Master’s degree in public health, healthcare administration preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills
  • Experience with administrative coordination, program support, healthcare operations, education, community programming, or related activities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, Electronic Health Records (Medent) and data tracking tools (Ex. Tableau and SQL)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, leadership, learners, and community organizations
