Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging positively with travelers, operating the point-of-sale system, and processing accurate payments. Prepare and serve quality food while ensuring strict adherence to food handling, labeling, and temperature control procedures. Complete kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, and packaging, alongside stocking, cleaning, and sanitizing workstations. Actively cross-sell products and maintain knowledge of available services at the travel plaza. This role requires standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and working flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
- Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds
- Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
- Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
