Job Summary
Lead operational implementation and startup activities for new pooling programs across CHEP, PECO, and other customer-managed asset portfolios. Serve as the primary operational contact for customers, poolers, and internal stakeholders to drive execution, compliance, and asset accountability. Define operating standards, monitor field execution, and resolve implementation gaps to ensure adoption of approved work practices. Own asset recovery, loss exposure, and invoice reconciliation while analyzing trends to communicate risks and recommendations to leadership. Coordinate issue resolution and performance reporting across Operations, Finance, Quality, and Account Management functions. Requires 5+ years in logistics or supply chain, with 65% travel for site support and audits.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, pallet pooling, supply chain, asset management, customer program management, or related environments
- Willingness to travel approximately 65% based on customer, implementation, audit, and site support requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred
- Experience with pooled assets, warehousing, transportation, depot, repair, or customer-managed supply chain operations preferred
- Knowledge of operational controls, asset accountability practices, compliance requirements, financial reconciliation, and performance reporting
- Ability to translate customer requirements into executable operational processes and standards
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence execution across multiple functions without direct authority
