Job Summary
Oversee the quality and success of Goldfish Swim School's training process, including supervision of the Golden Team, Golden Learner program, and pool area cleanliness. Work directly with customers for a minimum of 20 hours weekly across shifts as a Swim Instructor, Lifeguard, Deck Supervisor, or Front Desk representative. Lead Monthly In-Services and In-Water Workshops, host New Hire Orientations twice monthly, and ensure regular Mini, Pro, and Golden Team workshops are conducted effectively. Manage Golden Team member promotions and accountability, conducting trial lessons to assess student safety and group suitability. Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and Golden Learner qualifications. May serve as Manager on Duty and complete all assigned Asana tasks and L10 meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, and/or childcare provider
- One or more years as a swim instructor
- Swimming experience
- Up-to-date Ellis & Associates or American Red Cross Lifeguard certification
- Lifeguard Instructor certification and/or Certified Pool Operator certification
- 18+ years old
- Ability to work with children and successfully pass a background check
- Mastery of Goldfish Swim School's curriculum (all levels)
