Job Summary
Cleans, adjusts chemicals, and performs minor repairs on swimming pools, fountains, and auxiliary equipment. Regularly inspect pools and spray grounds for water clarity, chemistry, cracks, and wear; add chemicals as needed and maintain adequate inventory of supplies. Record and file daily water test results, ensure compliance with Texas and local health department standards, and maintain signage and company vehicles. Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, controllers, and safety equipment, repairing or replacing items as required. Remove debris, clean filter systems, and report daily conditions to supervisors. Participate in emergency response teams and work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and special events.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- One (1) year of related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of: Swimming pool chemicals
- Maintain current Pool and Spa Operation certification (CPO or AFO) or ability to acquire within 6 months of hire
- Must possess a Texas driver's license and meet the driver safety policy requirements
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
