Job Summary
Conduct daily inspections of pool facilities, test and balance water chemistry, and clean pools, decks, filters, and equipment. Operate pumps, filtration systems, heaters, and chemical feeders while performing minor repairs and maintaining accurate records of usage and inspections. Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, and respond to emergency situations as needed. Assist with seasonal opening and closing of pools. Requires a valid Texas driver's license, CPO certification preferred, and experience in pool maintenance. Full-time position starting September 1, 2026, at $24.08 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid Texas Driver's License (or ability to obtain)
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred or required within a specified timeframe
- One (1) year of experience in pool maintenance, water treatment, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of pool chemistry, filtration systems, and water treatment procedures
- Ability to safely handle and store pool chemicals
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and safety data sheets
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strenuous walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and carrying—over 45 pounds
- Work in tiring and uncomfortable positions
- Responsibilities of the position can require irregular work hours
