Job Summary
Provide peer support and recovery training to individuals receiving services; advocate for participant needs; teach recovery and life skills using recovery tools; model hope and self-advocacy; develop natural supports and community living; coordinate with the individual's clinical team to arrange services, and document in accordance with policies. Duties include assisting in creating a recovery environment, maintaining confidentiality, complying with federal/state regulations, and supporting participants in achieving goals. Must have de-escalation training, pass background checks, and meet state-specific requirements; requires willingness to attend court hearings as needed for the role. Nights shift is 7:00pm–7:30am with as-needed two 12-hour shifts per month; remote-work options described in addenda do not change primary on-site duties at the Crisis - Recovery Response Center in Peoria, AZ. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of Peer Employment Training thus obtaining Certification as a Peer Support Specialist
- High School Diploma or equivalent
