Pool Mechanic

Job Summary
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on swimming pools, spas, fountains, and water features. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pool pumps, motors, filters, heaters, chemical feed systems, controllers, and circulation equipment while monitoring and adjusting water chemistry to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, diagnose plumbing issues, and inspect pool surfaces, tile, and decking components. Clean filtration systems, assist with seasonal openings and closures, and maintain accurate records of all activities. Follow all safety protocols, chemical handling procedures, and use appropriate PPE. No experience necessary; training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of pool filtration systems, pumps, motors, heaters, automation systems, and water chemistry
- Ability to independently diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues related to aquatic facilities
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling practices and applicable pool health and safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe environment for guests and employees
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance priorities
- Engage in physical activities including standing for long periods, walking, bending, climbing, and utilizing hands for tasks involving gripping, handling, and reaching
- Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and around pool chemicals and aquatic equipment
