Pool Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee daily operation, maintenance, and safety of all resort aquatic facilities, including the Waterfront Floating Pool, Tower Pool, Paseo Fitness Center Pool, and Bayside Spa Pool. Supervise, train, and schedule pool maintenance staff while conducting routine safety inspections and enforcing operational procedures. Perform water testing, chemical balancing, and equipment troubleshooting for pumps, heaters, and filters. Maintain inventory of chemicals and supplies, operate company vehicles, and report maintenance issues to department leadership. Ensure all facilities meet cleanliness and health standards while adhering to OSHA and environmental regulations. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, available for emergency maintenance needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pool maintenance experience.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Knowledge of pool equipment, water chemistry, and preventative maintenance practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work safely around pool chemicals, equipment, and maintenance tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible work environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
