Pool Maintenance Specialist I

Job Summary
Maintain pools at client sites and company facilities by performing cleaning (skimming, vacuuming) and chemical treatments; conduct deep cleaning periodically (brushes, scrubbing walls/floors); regularly test pool water for pH, chlorine, bacteria, algae, and contaminants; ensure proper water chemistry and clarity; calculate and add chemical treatments to balance pH and eliminate contaminants; inspect equipment, troubleshoot and repair issues; maintain daily logs of chemical usage, water quality, repairs, and supplies; resolve client issues; perform related duties as assigned; requires strong interpersonal and customer service skills, understanding of pool repairs/automation/equipment/piping, mechanical/manual labor ability, math skills for chemical ratios, and proficiency with Microsoft Office for recordkeeping; physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds and visually/hearing- capable for interpreting readings and logs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of related experience
