Job Summary
Pool Maintenance Lead Specialist is a high-performing field expert responsible for elevating service quality across assigned routes and teams. This role focuses on training technicians, performing QA inspections, and providing route coverage as needed. The Lead Specialist ensures pools are serviced to company standards, supports technician development, and drives consistency in execution. Training & Development includes coaching on pool maintenance standards, chemical balancing, equipment handling, and safety; ride-alongs and hands-on coaching; reinforce processes and best practices; identify skill gaps and retraining. QA involves routine and random inspections, evaluating water chemistry, cleanliness, equipment function, and presentation; documenting results and providing feedback; partnering with managers to address issues. Route Coverage entails coverage for open routes, PTO, call-outs, and peak workloads; stepping into underperforming routes to stabilize quality. Operational Support covers troubleshooting in the field, onboarding support, performance improvement, and maintaining accurate service records in systems like Skimmer and ServiceTitan; ensuring proper use of chemicals, tools, and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Water chemistry and balancing
- Pool cleaning techniques and standards
- Basic equipment troubleshooting (pumps, filters, etc.)
- Proven ability to train and coach others in a hands-on environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
