Job Summary
Provide direct care and supervision to clients in a residential setting, assisting with daily activities including meal preparation, medication administration, and recreational programs. Monitor and document client progress and behaviors while responding to emergencies and providing crisis intervention as needed. Collaborate with staff to maintain a safe environment, adhering to all ethical and legal standards and confidentiality requirements. This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with an expectation to fill in shifts at the last minute and work extra hours. CPR and First Aid certification is required or obtainable. Sanctuary Recovery Centers offers training opportunities at the company's expense. Background checks, drug screenings, and APS registry checks are mandatory for all offers of employment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to fill in shifts at the last minute and work extra hours as needed
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background Check: All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
- Drug Screening: Candidates must pass a drug screening test as a condition of employment
- APS Registry: Candidates must pass an APS (Adult Protective Services) registry check before an offer of employment can be extended
