Job Summary

Pool Attendant primarily ensures a clean, sanitary pool environment and enforces safety rules. Responsibilities include testing and balancing pool chemicals, monitoring and adjusting pool temperature, cleaning and vacating pool facilities (baskets, filters, skimmers), supervising residents entering/exiting the pool area to maintain capacity, enforcing posted pool rules, ensuring safety equipment is available and functional, daily bathroom and deck maintenance, organizing furniture, reporting any damaged items, and assisting with general clubhouse/common area upkeep. Requires COP certification as applicable by state law, high school education (or GED), ability to endure seasonal temperatures, reliable communication, basic computer skills, and a valid driver's license. Part-time role with seasonal schedule and a competitive compensation of $14 per hour.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
  • Some High School Education (Required)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to endure seasonal temperatures
  • Flexibility to respond to community needs during non-business hours
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and internet
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Required Certifications/Licensures:(Certified Pool Operator (COP), where required by state law)
