Job Summary
Pool Attendant responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary pool area and ensuring safety equipment is available; duties include testing and balancing pool chemicals, monitoring and adjusting temperature, cleaning pool and skimmer baskets, ensuring capacity rules are followed, enforcing posted pool rules, maintaining restrooms, sweeping decks, organizing furniture, reporting damaged items, weed control in common areas, and assisting with clubhouse cleanliness. Requires HS diploma or GED (or progress toward), 18+ years old, ability to work flexible hours including non-business hours, and valid driver’s license; COP certification as required by state law. Part-time role at Sun Communities with seasonal responsibilities and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- Some High School Education (Required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to endure seasonal temperatures
- Flexibility to respond to community needs during non-business hours
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Good verbal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and internet
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Required Certifications/Licensures: Certified Pool Operator (COP) where required by state law
