Job Summary
Pool Attendant in Kansas City, MO: Provide guest services at the pool area, welcome guests, enforce safety protocols, manage pool equipment, and maintain a clean amenity space. Responsibilities include arranging pool furniture before opening, managing the music system, conducting daily pool inspections, ensuring guests have pool access, removing towels/drinks/trash, and reporting damages to the supervisor. Requires a High School diploma or GED, at least one year of hospitality experience, First Aid/CPR certification, and a Certified Pool Operator certification. Must have excellent customer service, be physically capable of handling outdoor conditions, and be willing to work weekends, holidays, and after hours. A criminal background investigation and drug screening are required, along with satisfactory reference responses and legal work authorization in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- At least one year's experience in the hospitality industry
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Certified Pool Operator Certification
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit, good swimming abilities, and able to perform physical labor in harsh weather conditions
- Ability to move and lift heavy furniture and equipment
