Job Summary
Greet guests at pools, beach areas, and recreation desks while hosting daily activities like fitness classes and seasonal events. Manage cabana reservations, escort guests to assigned locations, and set up equipment including towels, water, and game sets. Monitor recreation zones for safety, cleanliness, and capacity, enforcing property rules and responding promptly to hazards or weather changes. Process cabana and activity transactions, maintain inventory of supplies, and coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering for maintenance needs. Shuttle guests by golf cart around the property and support incident response procedures. Requires a valid driver's license and ability to lift 45 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Regularly lift 45 pounds
- Reach, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and walk
- Stand for several hours at a time
- Regular attendance in conformance with standards
- Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience
- Recreation, fitness, or resort experience
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Lifeguard certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident facilitating small groups and family activities
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel) and point-of-sale systems
- Comfort with scheduling tools
- Reliable, organized, and proactive with a collaborative mindset
- Knowledge of local attractions and outdoor/recreation practices
- Comfort working in outdoor environments
