Job Summary
Greets all guests arriving at the pool in a professional, friendly, and engaging manner while anticipating needs and maintaining positive relations. Sets up the pool deck with furniture, towels, and umbrellas, then sweeps, washes, mops, and dries the deck using a squeegee. Collects dirty towels, transports them to laundry, and folds clean towels for use. Checks restrooms and shower areas for supply levels and cleanliness, notifying departments of any needs. Adheres to all pool safety standards, including procedures for adverse weather, and utilizes first aid and lifesaving procedures when situations demand. Completes closing duties by returning soiled towels to laundry. Requires high school diploma, prior pool or guest service experience, and ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience working pool service and/or guest service experience
- Experience in a hotel environment
- Able to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent guest service skills
- Oral communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification
