Job Summary
Independently perform all aspects of diagnostic testing and record scoring to ensure high-quality services, or conduct these tasks with the assistance of a Registered Polysomnography Technologist if not yet registered. Provide support to less experienced technologists as needed or requested by the Polysomnography Coordinator, Director of Neurology Services, or Medical Director. Work nights from 7pm to 7am, with possible rotation from Sunday through Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1-3 years experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy
- Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
- Available for 7pm-7am shifts
- Available for Sunday thru Saturday shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Some college coursework in basic science of sleep medicine
- 1-3 years experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy
- Other health related experience
- Some college coursework in basic science or sleep medicine
- Eligible to sit for the sleep boards offered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
- Two (2) years of experience in a sleep laboratory servicing adults
