Polysomnography Tech (PRN) - Summit Sleep Services

Calibrate polysomnographic equipment, troubleshoot devices, and apply monitoring electrodes to patients while performing impedance checks. Collect, analyze, and integrate patient data to determine testing parameters, then complete pre- and post-study forms for charting. Orient patients to the lab environment, administer therapeutic interventions like CPAP or oxygen, and monitor study-tracing quality to ensure artifact-free signals. Document sleep stages, clinical events, and routine observations to facilitate scoring, while actively participating in site-level quality improvement activities. Adhere to all corporate and departmental policies, maintain strict patient confidentiality, and perform related clerical duties as needed.
