Job Summary
Independently perform all aspects of diagnostic testing and record scoring to ensure high-quality services. Assist less experienced technologists with tasks as requested by the Polysomnography Coordinator, Director of Neurology Services, or Medical Director. For non-registered candidates, conduct testing and scoring with the assistance of a Registered Polysomnography Technologist. This role operates on a PRN Monday through Saturday schedule from 7pm to 7am. Applicants must hold a high school diploma and one to three years of experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy, along with registration by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT). Some college coursework in sleep medicine is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1-3 years experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy
- Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
- PRN Monday thru Saturday, 7pm – 7am
Desired Qualifications
- Some college coursework in basic science of sleep medicine preferred
- 1-3 years experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy preferred
- Other health related experience might qualify
- Some college coursework in basic science or sleep medicine preferred
- Eligible to sit for the sleep boards offered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) preferred
- Two (2) years of experience in a sleep laboratory servicing adults preferred
