Job Summary
Perform sleep study procedures or neurological testing for all patient populations. Operate and troubleshoot sleep study equipment, monitor and document in the medical record per facility guidelines, and apply knowledge of AASM standards. Educate patients on prescribed therapies and sleep testing, follow up as needed, and work with diverse age groups. Requires licensure/credentials (RRT/RPSGT or Sleep Disorder Specialty) within specified timelines; ongoing CEU maintenance. Location is North Dakota (ND) in Bismarck; 12-hour night shifts with a weekly schedule of 36 hours. Sanford Health supports growth and provides comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or other medical specialty preferred
- Minimum of two years of related work experience in Sleep Disorders field preferred
- Knowledge of sleep disorders and electrical safety
- Ability to utilize computers for patient documentation and data gathering for patient care
- RRT, credentialing: obtain RPSGT or Sleep Disorder Specialty (RRT-SDS) credential within 2 years of starting in role or enrollment in A-STEP modules or accredited polysomnography program with CAAHEP/CoARC accreditation
- BLS certification within 60 days of employment
