Job Summary
Performs diagnostic sleep studies related to evaluation and treatment of patients with sleep disorders. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, interviewing patients to determine sleep disorder issues, monitoring during testing, applying EEG, EKG, EMG, EOG, airflow, respiratory effort, and oximetry sensors, and recording physiological calibrations. Analyze and integrate patient information, score and report sleep study results, and maintain and repair testing equipment. Shift is Night Shift; requires adherence to safety and quality standards and willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider (AHA)
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) - BRPT
- Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) - ABSM
