Job Summary
PhD-level Polymer Scientist to lead electrospinning and electrospraying initiatives for industrial and research clients. Hands-on experimental research combined with project leadership, client interfacing, and technical mentorship. Responsibilities include designing and executing experiments, developing SOPs, documenting results, providing applications support and demonstrations, and coordinating with customers and internal teams. This onsite role in Phoenix, AZ requires the ability to travel ~20–30% and to balance laboratory work with customer-facing activities in a collaborative, high-trust environment.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related discipline
- Extensive hands-on experience with electrospinning and/or electrospraying processes
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage technical projects
- Experience operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation
- Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% for customer support, training, and events
