Job Summary
Synthesize polymer dyes and perform metal catalyst reactions, including C-N and C-C coupling, while handling air/moisture sensitive reagents across temperatures from -78°C to higher ranges. Purify organic compounds using column chromatography and separation techniques, utilizing hands-on experience with HPLC, UPLC, GPC, TFF, and automated purification systems. Optimize synthesis processes within the Manufacturing Operations Team at the Bangalore Development Center, adhering to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and MDSAP quality standards. This role requires an MSc in a relevant science field with at least seven years of experience in polymer or conjugation chemistry.
Required Qualifications
- MSc in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Chemistry/Biology or BPharm
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience in handling metal catalyst reactions
- Experience in performing and optimization of C-N and C-C coupling reactions
- Experience in handling air/moisture sensitive reagents and performing of reactions at the temperature range of -78oC to higher temperatures
- Perform purification of the organic compounds using different types of column chromatography techniques and other separation techniques
- Having polymer chemistry and Conjugation chemistry knowledge
- good Hands-on experience on HPLC/UPLC/GPC/TFF/Spectrophotometer/Fluorimeter and Automated purification system
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with polymer chemistry and protein conjugation
- Expertise on organic synthesis of fluorescent dyes suitable for Flow Cytometry applications
