Poly Technician

Job Summary
Responsible for delivering resin blends to manufacturing lines using poly pumps and blending equipment; perform housekeeping around resin systems; engage railcars for pumping per direction of Resin Handler or Production Supervisor; transfer resins and blends as designated; identify resins/concentrates using silo and 6-digit JDE numbers; inspect packaging items from outside warehouses for contamination; log railcar hookups and material movements; maintain daily resin hopper checks; train new team members in material handling; monitor inventory to prevent outages; adhere to safety and EHS policies; operate in outdoor and near moving equipment environments; required physical capabilities include standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 60 pounds occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
- Special Skills: Knowledge of resins and additives; Ability to drive forklift and pallet jack; Ability to unload railcars; Basic computer skills; Attention to detail; Ability to read and interpret documents; Numerical proficiency.
