Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments. Escort guests to tables, set up and clear surfaces, and operate the cash register. Verify patron identification to ensure compliance with alcohol purchase age requirements. Maintain stocked, tidy tables and side stands while familiarizing yourself with the restaurant organization, menu, and specials. Execute opening and closing procedures, including cashiering functions and end-of-shift paperwork, adhering to Aimbridge Hospitality standards. Work in a high-pressure environment at Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
