Job Summary
The Pollution Control Officer will ensure compliance with local and national environmental regulations, particularly in air, water, and noise pollution control. Responsibilities include coordinating environmental impact assessments, preparing environmental reports and permits, developing pollution control strategies, implementing monitoring systems for emissions and waste management, training staff on environmental policies, and investigating environmental incidents. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, be a certified Pollution Control Officer, and have knowledge of Philippine Environmental laws. Familiarity with MS Office and experience in waste management are also required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Electrical Engineering
- Certified Pollution Control Officer with completed 40-hour Basic PCO training course
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledgeable of Philippine Environmental Laws and Regulations
- Experience in pollution prevention and waste management
- Environmental monitoring and reporting skills
- English and Ilonggo (local dialect) proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) certification
- Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) certification
