Job Summary
Refinish completed jewelry repairs using standard techniques including gluing, sanding, sand blasting, lapping, and hand polishing across all precious metals and specialty materials. Perform repairs and alterations on assigned orders while maintaining strict Tiffany quality and design standards, inspecting for defects, and escalating issues as appropriate. Manage workflow by organizing the bench, tracking due dates, and reporting late orders to administration, ensuring all parts and consumables are stored securely. Comply with occupational health and safety requirements by wearing personal protective equipment, handling hazardous materials correctly, and maintaining a risk-free workstation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- All metal type polishing
- Re-finishing including sandblasting, sanding
- Specialty ring polishing including lapping, thrumming etc..
- Gemstone identification and understanding of care steps
- Non-precious stone identification and understanding of care steps
- Flexible work schedule and ability to work overtime as needed
- Strong attention to detail
- Client centric orientation
- Fluent English language skills - Reading, Writing, Verbal
- Ability to shift tasks quickly to meet daily business needs
- Strong initiative and the ability to work without constant direction
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Demonstrated ability to identify and provide resolution for areas of improvement
- Ability to inspire trust, fairness, integrity, and professionalism with staff members as well as management
- Ability to work with cross functional teams
- Detail oriented ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management

Desired Qualifications
- Degree from jewellery technical/design program
- Experience with Microsoft Teams
- Tiffany & Co. product knowledge
- Large item polishing including platters, frames and flatware
- Assembly experience
- Watch knowledge
