Job Summary
Perform expert level polishing, re-finishing, and cleaning of luxury watch cases and components crafted from steel, gold, and platinum. Adhere strictly to established guidelines and work procedures to ensure consistent quality while meeting defined lead times for all tasks. Maintain a highly organized and clean polishing station, manage stock of polishing consumables, and accurately record daily figures related to polishing activities. Strictly follow all safety rules and regulations within the workshop environment. Collaborate effectively with the team to optimize daily and weekly workload.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in polishing luxury watches
- Demonstrated knowledge of various polishing techniques, including lapping, mirror polish, and satining
- Proficiency in using lapping machines, specialized tools, and attachments (e.g., Crevoisier)
- At least basic level of written and spoken English
- Exceptional attention to detail and a focused approach to work
- High level of manual dexterity and precision
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications or proof of training from recognized watchmaking or polishing institutions/brands
