Job Summary
Polish flatware and glassware to a high shine, then stock items in service areas. Roll and fold linen for guest and service use, including rolling silverware in guest linen. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all department of health guidelines. Assist with opening and closing duties, including resetting dining areas as directed. Check in, receive, and put away liquor, beer, and wine orders according to delivery schedules. This support position also involves grooming the restaurant and its perimeters.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to effectively communicate.
- Must be able to follow directions with focus to detail.
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
- Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of the job- carry heavy trays and furniture from time to time. (30lb)
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time. (up to 8 hours)
- Minimum education level: High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year in high volume, upscale restaurant or hotel
- Food Handler's Card
- Tips Card
