Polish Technical Leader

Job Summary
Lead Licensing Engineers and provide regulatory leadership for Polish nuclear licensing activities across new reactor construction and operations. Develop work plans and schedules, review and approve customer/regulatory deliverables, manage licensing risks, and ensure adherence to procedures. Prepare or review licensing basis documentation (PSARs, POSARs, FSARs, Technical Specifications, LARs, UFSAR markups) and responses to regulator questions. Interface with customers and regulatory personnel to secure necessary permissions and approvals, coordinate licensing strategies with internal teams, and support Licensing Proposals and RFIs. Requires experience in nuclear licensing, strong technical writing, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to obtain and maintain a site security clearance; travel up to 25% and remote work with relocation options are supported.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in science or engineering from an accredited university or college
- Demonstrated experience supporting commercial operating nuclear power plants and/or new nuclear power plant development projects
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects independently and provide regulatory guidance to cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong understanding of nuclear industry regulations, licensing processes, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Ability to evaluate complex technical issues, develop recommendations, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a site security clearance, including any required regulatory background check
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Poland-based eligibility to work (GVH will only employ those legally authorized to work in Poland)
- Experience with licensing documentation such as PSARs, POSARs, FSARs, LARs, UFSAR markups and Technical Specifications changes
- Experience coordinating licensing statuses with internal teams and customers
- Technical writing skills for creating regulatory reports and licenses

- Relocation preferred/negotiable within the first year of employment
