Job Summary
Provide personal care to clients near Kipling and Dundas in Etobicoke, including assistance with activities of daily living, hygiene, transfers, and meal preparation. Offer companionship and light housekeeping while ensuring client safety through proper equipment use and adherence to care plans. Complete accurate documentation and report care concerns to Care Designers. Communicate effectively in English and Polish, with Korean language skills required for client interaction. Maintain a flexible schedule for long-term placement, holding valid CPR, First Aid, WHMIS, and criminal record check certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Polish-Speaking
- Personal Support Worker Certification
- International nursing/ doctorate Certification
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate
- Valid WHMIS2015 Certificate of Completion
- COVID Vaccination Receipts
- Valid Criminal Record Check
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
- Must be able to speak Korean to communicate with client
- Negative TB Test completed within the last year
- Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed
