Job Summary

Policy Support Officer accountable for delivering customer service via email, answering questions from customers, underwriters, and agencies regarding product, process, or policy; responsible for work allocation, monitoring and reporting inflow of new business, renewals, cancellations and endorsements of transactions. Responsibilities include ensuring policies are followed, complying with applicable legislations and codes, maintaining stakeholder relationships, assisting other functions with questions about product/process/policy, maintaining a professional demeanor, processing all transactions and emails related to product/process/policies, assessing document completeness and providing solutions, and performing moderately complex clerical and administrative duties while following established policies and guidelines. Required competencies include strong verbal and written communication, proficiency with MS tools, customer service focus, attention to detail, organization, multitasking, problem-solving, analytical and research skills, with basic knowledge of customer service and insurance processing preferred.
