Job Summary
Policy & Commercial Development Lead in London (Canary Wharf) or Birmingham City Centre or Leeds City Centre. 37.5 hours per week, permanent contract, with a hybrid working arrangement (office attendance 2 days/week) and a flexible pattern (e.g., compressed 9-day fortnight). Focus on policy, regulation and contractual analysis across electricity and hydrogen markets; track market and policy developments; produce analysis and insights to support strategy and scheme delivery; collaborate with Strategy, Analytics, Legal, Contract Management and external stakeholders including government and industry; lead development of policy, regulation and business development work on existing and new schemes (notably hydrogen); quantify impacts on consumers and managed schemes; draft clear briefings and position papers for internal communications; and communicate complex information effectively to internal and external audiences. Essential skills include policy/regulation experience, electricity/hydrogen market knowledge, and strong stakeholder engagement; desirable: understanding of the UK energy sector, contract management, and capability to produce detailed reports and presentations.
