Job Summary
Policy and Compliance Analyst supporting citywide workforce equity and compliance by conducting workforce data analysis, monitoring agency submissions, and preparing mandated reports. Lead the submission and review of City Charter-required Annual EEO Plans and Quarterly Reports, provide feedback to agencies, and coordinate workforce analysis projects across agencies. Analyze demographic and training compliance data to identify trends and gaps; refine workforce reporting calculations and methodologies; translate legal mandates into actionable procedures; draft mandated compliance reports; maintain accurate records; and cultivate intergovernmental relationships to align with local laws, executive orders, and policies. This role ensures that legal requirements are met while delivering clear, evidence-based guidance to strengthen city workforce practices.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental science or public health (Assignment Level I)
- Doctorate degree or equivalent experience required for higher Assignment Levels (Level II and above) or a Master's with relevant experience as specified in the posting
- Two years of supervisory, administrative, or research experience may be required for higher levels
- Probationary period of one year for appointments
