Job Summary
Conduct standardization research and analysis to enhance SCC's capacity to provide value-added advice to private and public sector stakeholders. Manage program delivery through contract oversight, coordinate multi-stakeholder meetings, and facilitate strategic initiatives requiring cross-functional engagement. Support the annual budgetary process, monitor regulatory environments, and provide secretariat services including agenda development, minute tracking, and action item dissemination. Apply project management tools to oversee strategy advancement and ensure external feedback is incorporated into reports for senior management. Requires a post-secondary accounting designation, three years of standardization or policy experience, and a Reliability security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Reliability security clearance
- English language proficiency
- Post secondary education in accounting with an accounting designation in good standing or in the advance process of obtaining the full designation
- 3 years + of experience related to standardization, strategic policy and/or stakeholder relations
- Experience supporting the facilitation of multi-stakeholder technical or policy-setting groups or committees
- Experience in project management
- Experience in research
- Experience in strategic-thinking
- Experience in report writing
- Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status
