Job Summary
Policy Analyst Co-op role focused on supporting development, dissemination, and evaluation of knowledge translation and mobilization initiatives. Responsibilities include creating translation materials (reports, briefing notes, policy briefs, infographics, presentations, fact sheets, digital content), disseminating research findings via webinars, newsletters, social media, and stakeholder communications; coordinating meetings and engagement activities with researchers, partners, and community stakeholders; conducting literature reviews and environmental scans; tracking timelines, deliverables, and evaluation metrics; developing content for websites and campaigns; ensuring accessibility and audience-focused materials; collaborating with cross-functional teams on research and knowledge mobilization; customize knowledge translation activities to address the unique cultural context of four Inuit regions and urban Inuit.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Health Science, Public Health, Communications, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Knowledge Translation, Indigenous Studies or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and accessible language
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or virtual engagement platforms is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
